Missionary News - Nathan

We had an interesting first half of the week. On Monday we drove six hours south, through very heavy rain, to Brisbane so that we could be there early on Tuesday for a mission tour with one of the Area Presidency. After the meeting we went on splits with the missionaries that we were staying with to cover more ground. The other missionaries ended up getting stuck in the water and we had to go and help them. It was quite fun wading through mid-thigh deep water and then knee deep water (which we took full advantage of) to get to them and the car. Needless to say we were very, very wet afterwards. Then driving back up on Wednesday we got delayed for half an hour while the water receded on the road. It was quite an adventure.
Love ya lots,

Primarily Fun

I haven't quite figured out yet what is so fascinating about the chalkboard.
But, so far it is my best offered reward for good behavior.

Missionary News - Nathan

Yes I did get the debit card. It came on Tuesday. I didn't realize that you'd sent it to the office so that is why it took so long. They usually don't send mail up to us until they enough to fill a small box. I did get a new companion, but I stayed in Gladstone so I'll be dying [I know this is just a missionary term, but as a mother I don't like it] here. His name is Elder Lao from Sacramento, California. He's only been out for four and a half months so he's still pretty fresh. We had an awesome baptism this weekend and will be having one next weekend as well.
Heather had the whole house cleaned and dinner ready, that's impressive. Usually I had to drag them along to get that done for when the missionaries came over.
And archery is definatly an awesome new one. [Stake Youth Olympics event]
Love ya lots,
Nathan

I'm sensing a theme...

not the one where all kids chew on the front of their shirt...

or can be found in strange places...

No wonder she devours books...
The poor kid's mother thought the phonebook was entertaining.
I love you, Kelly!
Sorry about the phonebook.
